Hello, thanks for stopping by. I’m Craig Kinder, a Perth-based photographer who has spent the past 34 years telling stories with a camera.

While Perth is home, my work takes me around the State, across the country and the world. When I’m not shooting, I enjoy spending time with my wife – also a photographer – and our two daughters. On my days off, you’re likely to find me surfing a left-hand point break or maintaining a 1960s classic car. 

Food photography is a passion – from paddock to plate and everything in between. I’m inspired by the energy of chefs, the dedication of growers and producers, and the landscapes they work in. It's all part of the story.

Every shoot is different, which keeps me fired up after all these years. I create images that don’t simply show what something looks like, but capture the character, atmosphere and the story behind it.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life – from CEOs of international food corporations and advertising agency creative teams to celebrity chefs, farmers and fishermen. 

I believe good photography comes from making people feel comfortable, understanding the brief and working collaboratively.

I have photographed more than 40 cookbooks, with more on the way, each with its own distinct style and personality. Many have gone on to win local and international awards. All of have led to lifelong friendships and incredible experiences.

I am very easy to work with and am committed to delivering beautiful work on budget and on time, every time. 

I put the same amount of dedication and energy into every commission, whether it's for a start-up or a corporation. No job is too big or too small because I love what I do.
